Calgary police are looking for evidence they believe is linked to the homicide of a woman who has been missing since 2016.
Tammie Doreen Howard, 49, also known as Irish, was last heard from on Christmas Eve 2016. Her family then reported her missing in April 2017.
Police say they have spent the past five years following up numerous leads and have come to the conclusion that she was murdered.

In a news release on Saturday, police said they would conduct a search Aug. 6 for potential evidence on Siksika Nation lands with the assistance of Gleichen RCMP, Calgary Search and Rescue Association and members of missing persons and public security units.
The investigation into Howard’s murder is ongoing and anyone with information about his disappearance is asked to contact the police non-emergency number at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
