British Columbia Premier John Horgan holds a press conference after comments on the political future


British Columbia Premier John Horgan is expected to address the media on Tuesday afternoon, days after stoking speculation about his political future during an interview last week.

Horgan will speak to reporters at 1:30 p.m. PT. CBC News will broadcast the press conference live.

On Friday, the two-term prime minister hinted at an upcoming announcement after he was bluntly asked if he plans to remain in office for the remainder of his term.

“We have a cabinet retreat next week in Vancouver,” Horgan said, speaking during an interview with CBC. On the island.

« We are plotting and planning and preparing for the next two years. And so I will have more to say about that coming out of these meetings. »

The retreat began on Monday and continued on Tuesday.
