Brad Marchand could join Phil Esposito
Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is hot these days.

Thursday night, against the Philadelphia Flyers, he could become the second player in the history of the organization to score two or more goals in four consecutive games, after Phil Esposito.
Marchand scored two goals against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Jan.8 and against the Washington Capitals on Jan.10. Then on Wednesday, he scored a hat trick against the Montreal Canadiens.
The little plague is enjoying another excellent campaign, he who has collected 39 points, including 19 goals, in 28 games so far.
And his successes are no stranger to the Bruins’ success, which has been 6-1-0 since Jan. 1.
It’s nothing to help the poor Flyers who have lost their last five games. In addition to being defeated twice by the San Jose Sharks in that streak, they were beaten by three or more goals against the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and Pittsburgh Penguins.
