Boeing sells five 787 Dreamliners to aircraft lessor as part of air show
FARNBOROUGH, England—Boeing sold five more 787 Dreamliners to an aircraft leasing company AerCap Holdings S.A. its biggest buyer for the widebody jet.
The order is a boost for Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner program. Deliveries of the jets have been suspended for much of the past two years as the planemaker resolves various production issues with U.S. aviation safety regulators. Head of Boeing Commercial Aircraft Stan case said earlier this week that the company was « very close » to resuming deliveries.
