In order to relieve the congestion of city traffic, the inaugural section of the priority corridor will go from the Interetatic bus station (ISBT) to Bhoothnath station. It will cover three key stations – Patliputra ISBT, Zero Mile and Bhoothnath.

The inaugural metro series was carried out from the Patliputra bus deposit. Deputy Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were also present at the ceremony. In February 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi threw the foundation stone of the Metro project, estimated at 13,365 belts.

Way and stations
The first operational route covers a section of approximately 4.3 km. The route extends from the Inter-Stats Rutten station (ISBT) in Bhoothnath. The three main stations on this section are: Patliputra ISBT, Zero Mile and Bhoothnath.
Timings
The metro service takes place daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with 40 to 42 scheduled trips along the corridor. In the initial phase, trains should operate every 20 minutes.
Price
The structure of the prices is based on the number of stations traveled. The minimum rate is 15 ₹ for a single resort journey, while the maximum price is 30 ₹ for the complete route between ISBT and Bhoothnath.
Facilities
The coaches are designed with patterns inspired by the famous Madhubani art of Bihar, with traditional models. Each train has a seat capacity of 158 passengers, with 12 seats reserved for women and to tooth people differently.
In addition, each train has a standing space up to 940.
The coaches have modern equipment such as charging points for mobile phones and laptops, front emergency doors and bihaft sliding doors for improved safety and passenger experience.
