Biden to end isolation after testing negative for Covid again

After testing negative for Covid again, President Joe Biden will resume « public engagement and presidential travel, » the White House announced Sunday morning.

« This morning, the president’s SARS-CoV-2 antigen test was negative for a second day in a row, » Kevin O’Connor, the president’s physician, said in a statement released early Sunday.

The White House said Saturday that Biden had tested negative for Covid but would continue « strict isolation measures » out of an abundance of caution until he tested negative a second time.
