Bell Media: three other Quebec fictions sold around the world

Noovo’s original fictions « The brotherhood » and « …Me neither! » as well as Crave’s ‘A Criminal Case’ series have just been acquired by international broadcasters.
Produced by ComediHa!, the drama La Confrérie, whose second season will begin filming at the end of the month in Quebec City, has been sold to the French platform Playzer and the Belgian specialty channel Pickx+. The series notably stars Pierre-François Legendre, Isabelle Blais, Guillaume Cyr, Guillaume Lambert, Florence Longpré and a certain mascot that is reminiscent of Bonhomme Carnaval!
The comedy « …Me neither! » by Catherine-Anne Toupin, produced by Encore Television, will be showcased next winter on 6play in France. The second season, which brings together Catherine-Anne Toupin, Vincent Leclerc, Pierre Curzi and Christiane Pasquier, is broadcast every Tuesday on Noovo.
Finally, « A Criminal Affair », produced by Sovimage and whose plots viewers can follow every Tuesday at Noovo, will be broadcast in its original version this winter in Australia on SBS, as well as in Latin America, the United States, Great Britain Britain and Spain through Olympusat. This original Crave fiction allows Céline Bonnier to shine, as well as actors Louis-Philippe Dandenault, Marie Turgeon, Victor Andrés Trelles Turgeon, Raymond Bouchard, Bobby Beshro and Marc Messier.
« Bell Media is thrilled to see its original dramas break into international markets, » Suzane Landry, vice-president, content development, programming and information at Bell Media, said Thursday in a press release.
“I congratulate ComediHa!, Encore Télévision and Sovimage for these high-calibre productions, whose themes resonate with a wider audience. Thanks to its daring content, Bell Media is establishing itself as a major player on the world stage,” she added.
