The imaging capabilities of many smartphones can now rival dedicated cameras, but not their ergonomics. Belkin’s PowerGrip solves this problem with a DSLR-style grip on one end giving you a secure way to hold your smartphone while taking photos, even with your phone in portrait mode. The PowerGrip also has its own shutter button, positioned on the top edge of the grip so that it’s under your finger, which takes images using a Bluetooth connection with your phone.
Apple sells a similar accessory on its website called ShiftCam SnapGrip Pro for $90, but its battery is limited to 5,000 mAh and can only charge two devices simultaneously. Belkin’s PowerGrip is more spacious and can charge up to three using its magnetic Qi charger, a USB-C port, and a built-in 30-inch retractable USB-C cable. It also has a small LCD screen on the front showing the remaining battery capacity and a screw mount on the bottom of the grip for attaching it to a tripod.
