Auberges du Coeur Foundation: Marie-Claude Barrette invites people to share a soup

The host Marie-Claude Barrette invites the population to take part on September 7 in the event « A soup to share » for the benefit of the Auberges du Coeur Foundation, of which she is the spokesperson.

This meeting is part of the organization’s major fundraising campaign for the years 2022-2024, the objective of which is $1.2 million.

Each year, the 31 Auberges du Coeur help an average of 3,600 young people aged 12 to 35 who are in difficulty and homeless, with problems related in particular to family, violence, abuse, drug addiction and alcoholism.

Despite all the government assistance, there is a significant shortfall to meet all the needs, hence the assistance requested from the population and business people.

“A soup to share” will be held on September 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Grande-Place of the Complexe Desjardins, in the Quartier des spectacles, in Montreal.

All you have to do is pay just $5 to enjoy a soup in the company of Auberges du Coeur customers.
