ASSE. Striker Ibrahima Wadji has signed for Saint-Etienne

The Qarabag FK striker, in Azerbaijan, has just signed on Tuesday, August 30, with ASSE until 2025. A Senegalese international, he has played 36 matches in the jersey of Qarabag for twenty achievements.

Laurent Battles is enthusiastic with this new reinforcement. “He is a deep, fast player, capable of scoring goals, like Jean-Philippe Krasso. He makes a lot of calls and is a real plus for our attack”.

Ibrahima Wadji (27) has traveled a lot, notably playing in Turkey (Gaziantep FK), then in Norway (Molde FK then FK Haugesund), before becoming famous with Qarabag FK, a club with which he took part in several European Cup.

ASSE faced FK Qarabag twice in the Europa League during the 2014-2015 season, two matches which ended in two draws (1-1 in the first leg, then 0-0 in Azerbaijan in the return).
