Artemi Panarin has fun and the Rangers correct the Wild by the score of 7-3

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Artemi Panarin had a goal and three assists to lead the New York Rangers to an easy 7-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night.

Chris Kreider scored twice for Rangers, who spoiled the Wild’s home opener to take a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Adam Fox, Filip Chytil, Vincent Trocheck and Kaapo Kakko also flashed the red light for New Yorkers. Alexis Lafrenière set the table for two goals from his squad.

Igor Shesterkin was quickly tested by the Wild, who outshot Rangers 12-2 early in the game, and ended his night’s work with 33 saves.

Matthew Boldy moved the ropes twice while Mats Zuccarello completed the scoring for the Minnesota squad.

Marc-André Fleury blocked 28 pucks in the loss. He allowed seven goals in a single game for the fourth time in his career.
