From time to time, Apple promotes an Apple Watch activity challenge, which rewards users with a special trophy, as well as exclusive animated stickers. And if you collect them, you can mark your calendar for this Friday, October 10. Here are the details.
As spotted by MacrumorsApple has chosen this Friday for its “Mindful Month” activity challenge, which will invite users to record a mindfulness or meditation session that lasts at least 10 minutes:
On October 10, let’s take some time to appreciate all the ways we can take care of ourselves and ourselves. Log 10 minutes of mindfulness or meditation with any app that adds Mindful Minutes to Health to get this award.
In recent years, Apple has invested in mindfulness to its ecosystem through products like the Journal app and activities and challenges dedicated to meditation and reflection.
Friday’s challenge will expand, perhaps giving many Apple Watch users their first real encounter with these concepts.
Do you use your Apple Watch to track mindfulness and meditation sessions? Let us know in the comments.
