NEW YORK (AP) — Angel Reese is getting a pair of wings.
The Chicago Sky star announced on Instagram that she will be walking in the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15. This will be the first time a professional athlete will march in the parade.
“Stepping into a dream: from an angel to a Victoria Secret ANGEL,” Reese, 23, posted on Instagram. “I finally have my wings. I’m going to walk the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first time, and it’s like destiny. Wings on, heels ready… Catch me on the catwalk.”
The retailer posted a video of the announcement on Instagram showing the WNBA player wearing a pink dress, black lingerie and white feather wings.
“Angel Reese, welcome to the track. The first major professional athlete angel is an understatement,” the post read.
The lingerie show began in 2001 and ran annually for nearly two decades. Victoria’s Secret canceled the show in 2019, but brought it back last year, with Reese in attendance.
