« My hockey career is over, » Sekera told Slovak newspaper SME. « I had a few offers as a free agent, but I decided to quit anyway. A big reason was that my son had had medical issues in the last year. After all we have went through, I realized that it would be best to spend more time with my family. I thought maybe that would change somehow, but it didn’t happen.
