An operation launched fifteen years ago

Operation Winter Solidarity was launched by the Diocese of Paris in 2007, to welcome people on the street, by volunteer parishioners, in the parish premises.

In 2022, 41 parishes in Paris are involved in this operation.

Since 2018, Winter solidarity is also organized in the dioceses of Nantes (Loire-Atlantique), Orléans (Loiret), Lyon (Rhône), Fréjus-Toulon (Var), Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) , Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), Valence (Drôme).
