The actress then admitted that because she had fallen asleep early the night before, she hadn’t been able to see the latest episode of “The Bachelorette.”

“She was in turmoil,” Cunningham confirmed. “You know, when someone has a highlight this season, the other has a complete breakdown, that’s what happens.”
“Which is genius. I just said what I said about the ‘Bachelor’ franchise and I’ll say the two bachelors are probably the best thing they’ve ever done,” Seyfried said. “It’s, I’m most passionate about this direction from now on. I don’t know how you can do otherwise because now you don’t hold all the cards.
She added, “But I also like to pursue the authenticity that you so rarely see. I will say, I think Gabby is the most thoughtful, the most confident, there’s a, yes, she has her issues, we all have them, but she expresses herself in a way, articulates herself in ‘a way that I really appreciate and I don’t think I’ve ever seen. Maybe with JoJo.
When asked which “Bachelor” star, from the show’s history, she would pick, Seyfried replied, “No, none,” before admitting, “Ben. Ben. I would pick Ben Higgins.”
She then added, “I would say Ben. Ben is the only one. When I met Ben, I was like, “I really, really like you.” I do not know what it is. It’s just that there’s no one I can even date. None of them.”

Speaking of playing former Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes on “The Dropout,” Seyfried was asked if she had any concerns about taking on the role.
“I had no reluctance to play it,” she said. “I knew what kind of mountain it would be. I knew it was going to be hard and it would take a lot of work, more than usual, and I was ready for that, I think.
She continued, “It’s like there was a lot of pressure to make sure people believed you in her and I knew I was in good hands because the scripts were so good. [Creator] Liz Meriwether is… there’s no one, there’s no one like her, it’s an anomaly. She really wrote the most perfect script, which is why the show was so good and so it was already the standards that I had to try to match. I was in good hands.
