Alphonso Davies arrived safely in Qatar


The star player of the Canadian selection, the side Alphonso Davies, has indeed arrived in Qatar a few days before the start of the 2022 Soccer World Cup.

The one who plays with Bayern Munich had spent a few more days in Germany since he is recovering from a hamstring injury suffered on November 6. He missed Canada’s two warm-up games against Bahrain and Japan.

“I landed in Qatar. It’s time for serious things! Let’s go Canada”, he wrote on his social networks along with two photos of him.

Canada Soccer also released video of Davies’ arrival at the airport, through to his arrival at the hotel where the Maple Leaf squad are staying.

The one used in attack by coach John Herdman played a big role in qualifying Canada for the first World Cup since 1986. He will begin his group stage with a duel against Belgium on Wednesday.
