Alpha’s plant-based breakfast sandwiches, burritos recalled for undeclared milk – National
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has expanded a recall for alpha brand plant-based products because they contain milk that is not listed on the label.
The original recall for the alpha brand Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich – Meatless Sausage has now been expanded to include the Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich – Meatless Chorizo, the Plant-Based Burrito for the breakfast – Meatless Sausage Scramble and the Plant-Based Burrito – Mexicali.
The Meatless Sausage Scramble sandwiches and burrito were sold in 156g packages and the Mexicali burrito was sold in 142g packages.
All were sold across Canada.
No product-related illnesses have been reported.
Customers are asked to discard the products or return them to where they were purchased.
