MONTREAL — The some 180 technicians and employment support employees of the Autorité des marchés financiers have just ratified the agreement in principle that was reached with their employer regarding the renewal of their collective agreement.
It is 91% that they approved this agreement, said Wednesday the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), affiliated with the FTQ.
These employees work in support of the investigators and lawyers of the Autorité des marchés financiers. They take note of complaints and denunciations, for example, and deal with administrative work.
At the end of May, they had given themselves a pressure action mandate that could go as far as an indefinite strike.
