ADISQ has a new president


Elected by his peers, Jean-François Renaud, president of the Concertium agency, becomes the new chairman of the board of directors of the Quebec Association of the Record, Entertainment and Video Industry (ADISQ).

He succeeds Philippe Archambault, who has led the board for the past four years.

The board praised Thursday the unfailing commitment and the colossal work of Mr. Archambault for the defense of the music, record and entertainment industry. He spearheaded many important files, including the emergency funds obtained to help the industry get through the pandemic, the transition to general management and the implementation of best practices in governance.

Composed of six women and seven men, the Board of ADISQ finds itself for the first time in a parity zone. Following the final votes, the council also proceeded to appoint officers for the year. Thus appointing Joëlle Robillard (Musique Nomade), Sabrina Cousineau (Bravo musique) and François Bissoondoyal (L’Équipe Spectra) to the positions of vice-presidents of sound recording, show and record label.

Stéphanie Moffatt (Mo’Fat Management) and Nathalie Corbeil (Nat Corbeil) hold the positions of secretary and treasurer.
