The actions of the hospital jumped after the revisions of the central government health regime (CGHS), Max Healthcare and Fortis Healthcare increasing about 7%. The heavy goods vehicles in the financial sector, including Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bajaj Finance, have advanced on the back of strong T2 results. Shriram Finance continued his recent upward trajectory, winning 10% in last week.
Consumer and detail stocks have experienced mixed results. Trent reported revenue growth of 17% in the second quarter, but ended the lower session, while Avenue Supermarts dropped 3% after a low update. Nykaa increased by 7% after robust quarterly results, and Delhivery increased by 6% on the demand for the holiday season. Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail jumped almost 7% in the midst of the reports of a potential Flipkart outing.
Automobile actions have closed modestly higher, supported by sales of the holiday season, while Vodafone Idea fell 4% after the Supreme Court postponed the AGR affair until October 13 at the government’s request. Samman Capital has extended losses to 10% since the announcement of the IHC agreement.
Among Midcaps, Paytm, Cholamandalam Investment, Info Edge and Kaynes technology were notable winners. The market width was negative, with the Advance-Decline NSE ratio at 3: 4, indicating more declines than advances.
