The Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott (R), confirmed on Sunday that 400 soldiers of the National Guard of Texas will be deployed in Illinois and in other sanctuary states under a federal directive of President Trump, triggering a fierce interstate confrontation. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker (D) denounced this decision as “Trump’s invasion” and called for immediate withdrawal.

Governor Abbott confirmed a plan by President Trump to send soldiers from the National Guard of the Army to Texas to Illinois and to other parts of the country to protect federal officials from the application of laws. This decision, confirmed by Abbott in an article on social networks on Sunday, aroused criticism from the Governor of Illinois Pritzker, who asked Abbott to refuse.

Pritzker published a statement on Sunday, condemning the plan to send the contingent of Texas soldiers to his state, saying: “We must now start to call what he is: Trump’s invasion. It started with federal agents, this will soon include the deployment of federal members of the Illinois National Guard against our wishes, and this will now imply the sending of military troops from another state. “

“I call Governor Abbott to immediately support any support for this decision and refuse to coordinate,” said Pritzker. “There is no reason for a president to send military troops in a sovereign state without his knowledge, his consent or their cooperation.”

The Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has not lost time to respond to Pritzker’s request to refuse coordination with President Trump’s plan in an article on social networks on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday evening. Abbott’s post said: “I fully authorized the president to call 400 members of the Texas National Guard to ensure the safety of federal officials. You can either fully apply the protection of federal employees or move away and let (the) guard from Texas do it. ”

Abbott added: “No guard can match the training, skills and expertise of the Texas National Guard. They defend our country with pride. America should also know that Texas still has thousands of national guard helping border security. ”

The secretary of war, Pete Hegseth, sent a memorandum through the office of Governor Abbott to the Warrant Officer of the National Guard of Texas asking for the coordination of the effort aimed at mobilizing up to 400 soldiers citing violent incidents and credible threats of continuous violence which hinder the execution of the laws of the United States in Illinois, Oregon, and other parts of the country Improvement for demand.

Part of the group of Texas soldiers will be deployed to respond to security problems in Portland, Oregon. As reported by Breitbart News, the soldiers of the Texas National Guard will protect the installations of the Gly in the State after a federal judge prevented President Trump from using Oregon and the California National Guard to protect the facilities.

The deployment of soldiers from the Texas National Guard to Illinois presents itself in the heels of recent clashes between anti-glide demonstrators who besieged a federal installation in BroadView, Illinois and federal agents who try to protect the Ice Detention Center.

As Breitbart Texas reported on Saturday, ICE agents were caught in ambush and boxed in ten vehicles during a routine patrol in BroadView, just outside Chicago. Trump administration officials call on the incident a coordinated act of domestic terrorism.

An armed suspect was killed after hitting a patrol car and faced federal law enforcement agents with a semi-automatic weapon. According to the authorities, the person had previously been reported for prompting violence against online police.

The series of increased protests and violent attacks against federal immigration officials in Chicago intervenes while the Trump administration increases deportation operations in the region. As part of the Midway Blitz operation, a contingent of border patrol agents across the country works in concert with other Federal Chicago agencies to target specific areas known for an illegal extraterrestrial criminal activity.

As Breitbart Texas reported, the border patrol increased marine operations along the local areas in the Center-Ville de Chicago region to help federal officials in immigration application operations.

The Ministry of Internal Security launched the Midway Blitz operation in early September in honor of Katie Abraham, who was killed in a drunk driving car wreck caused by an illegal criminal foreigner Julio Cucul-Bol in Illinois. According to an announcement by the DHS, the operation targets criminal illegal foreigners who have arrived in Chicago and other parts of Illinois due to sanctuar policies that would protect them and allow them to walk freely in the American streets.
