This is the Test Québec En Alerte which will take place on November 16 from 1:55 p.m. According to public security and Santé Montréal, cell phones, radios and TVs will emit a shrill sound.

It is advisable to program an alarm a few minutes before the test so as not to be surprised by the sound.

Tests of this kind are carried out to verify that the alerts are correctly broadcast on radio, television and mobile devices, and to raise awareness of the sound signal emitted during the alert.
