A new video of a fatal crash involving Kyren Lacy released by police after the lawyer said that the late LSU player is innocent

Police from the State of Louisiana published on Tuesday new videos of the murderous stacking involving the LSU wide receiver, Kyren Lacy, defending his investigation into the accident as “supported by facts”, after the lacy lawyer claimed that new proofs have allegedly exempt the star of university football.

Lacy, 24, died by suicide on April 12 while the prosecutors pushed a matter against him for a mortal on December 17, 2024, would crash on the Louisiana Highway 20 in the parish of Lafourche, which is about an hour outside New Orleans.

“Louisiana’s state police are committed to providing an in -depth and objective investigation based on science and supported by facts,” the LSP said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Although we recognize that external accounts can occur, often based on selective information, we urge the public to count on all the facts,” the statement said.

At the start of a video presentation of 11 1/2 minutes, the colonel of the police of the state of Louisiana, Robert Hodges, said that the investigation was underway.

“As this complete survey develops, our understanding of the incident can change as additional evidence is collected, analyzed and examined,” said the superintendent of the State police.

The video published Tuesday has shown that the Green Dodge Charger led by Lacy passing through opposite traffic lanes before the noise of cars crashed.

“A green loading dodge is seen moving south in the opposing track of the 20 at a high speed, passing three passenger vehicles and an 18 wheels loaded in an designated passage area with a displayed speed limit of 40 MPH,” said a narrator of the video.

“While the Green Dodge Charger returns to the track in southern direction, aggressive braking and the deceleration of the engine are immediately followed by an accident which can be heard on the surveillance images.”

Lacy’s lawyer, Matt Ory, insists that the newly discovered video exempts his late customer, saying that Lacy was over 70 meters behind the cars that collapsed.

Herman Hall, a veteran of the 78 -year -old Vietnam War, was killed in the accident that led Lacy to be reserved in suspicion of homicide by negligence, driving with the offense of leakage and reckless driving of a vehicle.

“It is 72.6 yards behind the vehicles at the time of the impact, keyword” behind “vehicles”, told HTV in Houma this weekend. “This is not how this story has ever been painted (by the authorities).” Never. ”

The package of videos of 11 1/2 minute published Tuesday included images of a soldier’s body cameras who arrived shortly after the accident.

As soon as he leaves his cruiser, the soldier was immediately welcomed by a witness who asked: “Is there still a flying green charger in this way?”

The soldier specifically asked if the charger had struck someone and witnesses said that cars in the stack had been forced to take evasive measures to dodge the car and the driver, later tried Lacy.

“A green charger caused all this,” said another witness.

Lacy played five seasons of university football, the first two at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette before transferring for three campaign to Baton Rogue.

He captured 58 assists for 866 yards and 9 affected in 2024. These 9 score catches were on the most of the dry of the season.

Lacy had been projected as a highly high NFL recovery choice before its involvement in the deadly crash.

The attorney general of Louisiana, Liz Murrell, defended the local prosecutors and said that they were right to degenerate the case of Lacy to the Grand Jury.

“The evidence is not disputed here.

“Each witness identified the green charger Kyren Lacy was determined to drive, as having put the events in motion which led to the frontal collision, which killed the 78 -year -old veteran Herman Hall.”
