A man died in a shooting near the Milliken GO station

A man died following a shooting in Scarborough on Saturday evening, according to the Toronto Police Service.

Police say officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to a report of unknown problems near the intersection of Midland Avenue and Passmore Avenue.

Upon arrival, police found a man with gunshot wounds. CPR was administered to the victim.

Police sent another tweet 20 minutes later saying the victim had been pronounced dead at the scene.

The tweet also warned that the area will have an increased police presence as they continue to investigate and speak with witnesses.
