A little sunshine to brighten the day in southern Quebec

Quebecers will have to take advantage of the sun’s rays on Tuesday in several sectors of the south and center of the province, even if the mercury will hover around the freezing point.
In Greater Montreal and the Outaouais, the day promises to be sunny, but Environment Canada predicts possible cloudiness in the afternoon for these sectors.
The same scenario is expected in Mauricie, Centre-du-Québec and, in part, in the Capitale-Nationale with maximum temperatures of minus 3 degrees, according to the federal agency.
This is not the case for the regions of Estrie and Beauce, affected by morning snow showers and strong winds with gusts of 40 km/h at midday.
In the sectors a little further north, there will be more clouds than sun, especially in Saguenay, where the wind chill will reach minus 10 degrees in the afternoon.
Light snow is expected in the morning in several areas of eastern Quebec, before giving way to cloudiness with rare clearings in places later in the day.
On the other hand, the sun will be more present during the day on Wednesday, when temperatures will be within normal seasons for practically all of Quebec.
