A burned vehicle in Montreal North

The Montreal Fire Department (SIM) was dispatched early Wednesday morning to Pigeon Avenue, near Industrial Boulevard, in the Montreal-North borough, to respond to a burning vehicle.

The fire spread and damaged the adjacent commercial building. No injuries were reported according to a SIM spokesperson.

Although the flames were brought under control by the dozens of firefighters on site, the cause of the fire has still not been determined and an investigation is currently underway.
