A 32-year-old Johannais dies in an accident in Saint-Alexandre
A 32-year-old man from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu died on Friday 1er July in an accident at 5 p.m. on Route 227 in Saint-Alexandre. His identity is not yet known.
The driver was driving north at the height of the overpass spanning Highway 35. According to information from the Sûreté du Québec, the motorist left his lane and his vehicle collided with another vehicle coming in the opposite direction.
The three occupants of the other vehicle were taken to hospital, but there is no fear for their lives. Police officers from the Sûreté du Québec proceeded to examine the accident scene to determine the circumstances of the collision.
