Among the nominated candidates are Usha Kiran from Sursand (Sitamarhi), Jagriti Thakur from Morwa (Samastipur), Jayanti Patel from Khagaria, Lata Singh from Asthawan (Nalanda), Kumari Poonam Sinha from Nalanda, Neha Kumari (Natraz) from Chenari (SC, Rohtas) and Archana Chandra. from Nabinagar (Aurangabad).
The list also includes retired bureaucrats, doctors, social workers and educators, reflecting Kishor’s previous commitment to supporting candidates known for their integrity and public service rather than their political lineage.
“Our aim is to bring credible and service-oriented people into politics,” said Uday Singh, national president of the party, while unveiling the list at the Sheikhpura House in Patna.
Although Kishor’s name was missing from the list, Singh confirmed that the Jan Suraaj founder would launch the party’s campaign on October 11 from Raghopur, the constituency represented by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Singh hinted that Kishor’s candidature could still be announced later, keeping political circles abuzz with speculation.
