Motion to Impeach
As per procedure, the motion requires at least 100 signatures in the Lok Sabha and 50 in the Rajya Sabha to be introduced. A two-thirds majority in the relevant House is required for the motion to pass.
The signed motion is submitted to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha or the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, depending on where it was initiated.
