New weapons to unlock
Season 6 includes some new DLC weapons. The iconic MP40 returns to Call of Duty, but this year it’s renamed in Black Ops 6 as the Dresden 9mm submachine gun. The gun is available to unlock for free in the Battle Pass. The Merrick 556 Assault Rifle is another new gun, and it’s also available for free in the Battle Pass.
Later in the season, two new weapons will arrive in the match. This includes the chainsaw melee weapon and a special weapon called the x52 resonator, which looks like some kind of alien blaster gun.
Players can transform the X52 Resonator by adding one of three unique Establishment Crystal attachments, each offering a different attack style. The Shard Orbed Eruption creates a versatile multi-eruption, the Spiked Barrage Shard has a slow but deadly seven-round burst, and the Stone Climbing Shard offers a powerful charge shot.
Additionally, the update will also include new unlockable attachments for use in the cannons.
