The Half-time artists of the Super Bowl are selected by the NFL in collaboration with Apple Music and Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by Jay-Z.
Bad Bunny, who performs mainly in Spanish, was announced as an artist at the half-time of the Super Bowl this year at the end of September. Three times a winner of a Grammy Award and which released his latest album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos”, in January, he will be the first Latin American man to appear at the head of the half-time show. He also led the first of the season of “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
Earlier this year, the singer, songwriter and producer used his platform to ridicule Trump for his immigration policy. Three days after Bad Bunny was announced as the half-time artist of the February 8 match in Santa Clara, California, a Trump administration official said that ICE agents are present in the match.

Not at the Super Bowl, and nowhere else,” said Corey Lewandowski, principal advisor to interior security Kristi Noem, during an appearance on “The Benny Show”, animated by the conservative podcaster Benny Johnson. “We will find you.
