The release of the ICC (Marxist-Leninist) has rejected an offer to fight on 19 seats in the next assembly of the Assembly as part of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), led by Mahagathbandhan, a party source.

It was not a “worthy proposition,” said the person.

According to the source, the left part was offered the same number of seats for which he challenged in the surveys of the 2020 Assembly.

“At least three of our seats have also been changed,” said the source.
In 2020, the release of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) had fought out over 19 seats and won 12. This time, the left party had asked about 40 seats to fight.

“CPI (ML) rejected the offer because it was not a worthy proposal, and we will make a new proposal to fight around 30 seats,” said the source.

“We reduce the number of seats by almost 25%,” said the person.

The ICC (ML) also argued that the party helped Mahagathbandhan not only on the seats they led, but also to obtain votes in the surrounding regions.

Asked about the party’s position in case its new offer is not accepted, said the source: “All the options are open.” The Mahagathbandhan is a grouping of the congress, left -wing parties – ICC, CPI (M) and CPI (ML) – and the Vikassheel INSAAN Party of Mukesh Sahni (VIP). The alliance is led by Rashtriya Janata Dal.

In 2020, allies, the RJD challenged 144 seats and won 75, while the Congress challenged 70 seats and won 19.
