After the Center awarded the national leader of the AAM AADMI party, Arvind Kejriwal, a type VII bungalow in the capital, the party confirmed that the former Delhi chief minister will remain at 95, Lodhi Estate Hodation, who was allocated to him after “Delhi’s high court hit the center on the issue”.

“Kejriwal has received an official bungalow by the center after being reprimanded by the High Court of Delhi. He was entitled to a bungalow since he was the head of a national party,” Anurag Dhanda told the Aap Anurag Dhanda media.

Last month, the High Court of Delhi reassembled the center for delaying its decision in the allocation of residential housing in Kejriwal in the national capital.

Kejriwal lived in 60 accommodation, Flag Staff Road in Civil Lines while he was chief minister.

The BJP had made it a big electoral problem in Delhi, calling the house “Sheesh Mahal”, and promising that his chief minister will not remain there.

After having resigned from his post as chief minister, Kejriwal moved to a government bungalow attributed to the deputy AAP Rajya Sabha Ashok Mittal.

In 2022, the Delhi government’s vigilance department launched an investigation, on the management of Lieutenant-Governor VK Saxena, in allegations of “irregularities and cost climbing” in the renovation of the Bungalow civil lines by the PWD.

Currently, the CBI examines the case on the complaint of the head of the opposition of the time to the Delhi assembly, Vijender Gupta, filed with Saxena in December 2024.
