Temple, Arizona – Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon apologized to Emari Demermado at a team meeting on Monday for his reaction after the ball carrier dropped football before crossing the goal line on what would have been a touch of 72 yards in the fourth quarter of the shocking defeat of 22-21 Sunday against the Titans of Tennessee.

In a video on social networks, Gannon heads towards Demermado while he was consoled by the left width Paris Johnson Jr., then put himself on the back of the ball carrier. Gannon seems to tear himself apart in Demecado, continuing his rant as he begins to move away. While Gannon is moving away, he seems to come into contact with Demermercado’s right arm.

“I woke up this morning and I didn’t feel well, honestly,” said Gannon.

“I just said (the team), I leave in a way the moment of what happened over me there. Obviously, I try to be emotionally stable and calm because my work consists in solving problems during a game and carrying out the charge on this subject. So, it is not really who I am, who I want to be, and I said to the guys today.

“So, it’s a mistake of me, and it’s like everyone in it, everyone made a kind of error yesterday, which culminates why we did not win the game, and we cannot let it happen.”

The touch of Emermera would have put Arizona at 28-6 with around 12:40 am to do in the fourth quarter. The teams up 22 in the fourth quarter are 1,276-1 in the last 25 seasons, according to ESPN Research.

The Titans marked on the reader after the blunder of Emermercado, launching a return which gave them his first victory of the season and the cardinals one of their worst losses in the history of the franchise.

Gannon did not lead Demermera after the game and said on Monday that there would be no impact for the error.

“Just the best thing for the team,” said Gannon.

Gannon said his reaction was the result of repressed frustration in a game full of blunders, errors and inappropriate penalties.

“I just thought it was a big game in the game he had to be executed,” said Gannon. “I have already seen us do this, execute these things, and we hold our hat on standard operational procedures on the ball, and I would just have liked to see him execute a little better there.”

Gannon also announced that the second -year tight point, Reiman, would make a injured reserve and will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury.

“It’s a big loss,” said Gannon.
