Temple, Arizona – Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon apologized to Emari Demermado at a team meeting on Monday for his reaction after the ball carrier dropped football before crossing the goal line on what would have been a touch of 72 yards in the fourth quarter of the shocking defeat of 22-21 Sunday against the Titans of Tennessee.
In a video on social networks, Gannon heads towards Demermado while he was consoled by the left width Paris Johnson Jr., then put himself on the back of the ball carrier. Gannon seems to tear himself apart in Demecado, continuing his rant as he begins to move away. While Gannon is moving away, he seems to come into contact with Demermercado’s right arm.
“I woke up this morning and I didn’t feel well, honestly,” said Gannon.
“I just said (the team), I leave in a way the moment of what happened over me there. Obviously, I try to be emotionally stable and calm because my work consists in solving problems during a game and carrying out the charge on this subject. So, it is not really who I am, who I want to be, and I said to the guys today.
