Morgan Stanley says that American consumers feel less worried about inflation than in any time since the beginning of 2022, according to his latest survey. The bank noted that 56% of respondents now cite inflation as their higher concern – compared to 60% in August and 63% a year earlier.
- The feeling towards the economy and household finances improved in September, 36% of those questioned expecting the economy to strengthen, against 33% the previous month.
- However, Morgan Stanley warned that prices for prices related to prices could reappear while businesses regain pricing power, which could relaunch the concerns of inflation later this year.
