40-year-old man stabbed in Scarborough building – Toronto

Toronto police say a man in his 40s was seriously injured after being stabbed in an apartment building in Scarborough.

Emergency crews were called to the residential high-rise in the Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue area around 5 a.m. Tuesday to reports of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, police said a man had been found stabbed.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries.

There is no word on the suspects or the circumstances of what led to the stabbing.
