4 outgoing planes from the international space station is disadvantaged and head for the harassment on Saturday

Four outgoing crew members of the international space station detached from the laboratory complex Friday and set their sights on a bittering in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday to close a 148 -day mission.

The commander of the crew 10, Anne McClain, the pilot Nichole Ayers, the Japanese astronaut Takuya Onishi and the Cosmonaut Kirill Peskov made their farewell to their team’s teammates, floated in the SpaceX Crew Dragon Endurance, attached and detached from the port before the laboratory at 6.15 p.m.

The Crew Dragon Endurance is moving away from the international space station, paving the way for a bittering in the Pacific Ocean on Saturday morning.

If all goes well, the capsule will plunge back into the perceptible atmosphere on Saturday morning and will crash off the southern coast of California at 11:33 HA.

“We really want to leave with gratitude for the absolute privilege of being able to live and work on this incredible international space station,” said McClain during a departure ceremony on Tuesday. “We are all perfectly aware that we may never see that again.

“We have been very thoughtful in recent days to understand what we are all to be part of. We know that there are tumultuous moments on earth … And we want this mission, our mission, to be a reminder of what people can do when we work together, when we explore together.”

The ONISHI station commander then delivered a symbolic key to the laboratory complex – as well as the ISS command – to the Cosmonaut Sergey Ryzhikov.

“I would like to point out that our expedition 73 took place a year anniversary,” said Ryzhikov. “We celebrated together the 50th anniversary of the first joint international space flight, Apollo-Soyouz, and the first handshake in space.

“We are going to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the inhabited flight of the International Space Station (in November),” he continued. “History shows that on our beautiful planet, people unfortunately cannot understand each other. But in space, we can cooperate effectively. So thank you all.”

The start of the crew 10 comes six days after the arrival of their replacementsCommander of the crew 11 Zena Cardman, the Mike Fincke driver, the Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui and the cosmonaut Oleg Platonov. They were launched on August 1 aboard the Crew Dragon Endeavour.

Since then, the outgoing crew, accompanied by Ryzhikov, Cosmonaut Alexey Zubritsky and his teammate of NASA Jonny Kim, informed the replacements of the subtleties of the station’s operation, informing them as quickly as possible.

It turned out that the crew 10 benefited from a little additional time for a “transfer” thanks to the strong winds in the Amerritis area which excluded disagreement scheduled for Wednesday.

Dismalling on Friday set up a return trip to earth at 17.5 hours. The propellants Draco oriented forward of the Crew Dragon will draw for almost 10 minutes at 10:39 a.m. Hae on Saturday, slowing down the capsule enough to drop the other side of the ship’s orbit in the atmosphere.

Following a trajectory from southwest to the northeast, Endurance is expected to bite the southern California at 11:33 a.m., ending a mission of 147 days, 16 hours and 29 minutes covering 2,368 orbits and 62.8 million thousand since its launch on March 14.

The crew 10 is the first crew sponsored by NASA to land in the Pacific Ocean. All the previous flights of Crew Dragon de la NASA ended with halves off the coast of the Gulf of Florida or the Atlantic Ocean.

But SpaceX recently decided to modify the landing places to ensure that all the debris of the section of the abandoned chest of the Crew Dragon splashed without danger in the Pacific, far from any populated area.

Two CREW Dragon commercial flights landed in the Pacific earlier this year to open the way to crew 10. As for these previous flights, SpaceX recovery teams will be held near the landing site to recover the capsule and astronauts.
