1 dead after stabbing in downtown Halifax


Halifax Regional Police say a man died after being stabbed in downtown Halifax early Sunday.

In a news release, police said they were called to the 1600 block of Lower Water Street around 12:36 a.m. AT.

The victim was taken to hospital, but was later pronounced dead.

The police did not provide any information on the age of the victim.

They are asking anyone with information about the stabbings to call them at 902-490-5020.
